Baker lifers off the team!?

This is just a rumour at the moment but apparently some OG Baker riders have been kicked off the team due to budget cuts. The riders from left to right: Shane Heyl, Kevin ‘Spanky’ Long, Braydon Szafranski and Jeff Lenoce were chosen to be let go because of lack of footage and involvement with the rest of the team.

The only one I can understand this happening to is Braydon. We haven’t seen a lot of footage of him in a while and he didn’t have a huge part in Bake and Destroy. However when he does get footage it’s always pretty impressive. Although his part was short in Bake and Destroy it did include some pretty impressive clips.

I was surprised by Shane Heyl apparently being dropped as he does seem to get a lot of footage. He had a full part in Bake and Destroy and features in quite a lot of the Baker Zone webisodes on the Ride Channel.

Hopefully these rumours aren’t true as I’m sure most of us would hate to see these guys go.
